Who is responsible
Geertjan Berman, operating as Batang Pinangga Ventures, Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, is responsible for the investment applications received through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact geertjan@bpventures.ph.
What we collect and why
When you apply, we collect your contact details, role, business information, financial summaries, funding request, growth plans, confirmations and, if you choose, a PDF pitch deck. We use these to assess investment suitability, contact you and explore a potential partnership. Providing a pitch deck is optional. Please do not include identity documents, bank account details, or unnecessary personal information about other people.
We process your introduction at your request to evaluate a potential business relationship. Your confirmation records your agreement to this application review. We do not add applicants to marketing lists. You may withdraw your application by email.
Private storage and service providers
Application answers and PDF files are stored privately with Cloudflare. Only authorised account holders can access them. The website uses encrypted connections, server-side validation, submission limits and Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. PDFs receive basic format and size checks; this is not a guarantee that an uploaded file is safe.
Resend sends an internal notification containing an application reference, without your financial figures or pitch deck. Gandi provides the receiving mailbox. These providers process technical information needed to operate their services. Cloudflare, Resend and Gandi may process information in countries outside your own, including outside the Philippines and the European Economic Area, subject to their applicable data processing arrangements.
How long we keep information
Application answers and uploaded files are scheduled for deletion after 180 days. If we agree to continue an investment relationship, we will separately explain any further records we need. Limited technical records, application references and provider recovery copies may remain for their operational or backup periods. Daily pseudonymous submission-limit identifiers are separate from your application.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw your application, or ask about restriction, objection and portability where applicable. Email geertjan@bpventures.ph and include your application reference if available. We may need to verify your identity. You may raise a concern with the relevant privacy authority, including the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or the Philippine National Privacy Commission.
Website visits
Cloudflare processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website. Turnstile processes browser and connection signals for its security check. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts. We do not use advertising trackers or save your application in browser storage.
Investment information
Applying does not guarantee funding. Any investment requires review, due diligence and separately agreed terms. Partner businesses and entrepreneurs have no obligation to donate to Batang Pinangga.
